I’m enjoying the warmer weather and the promise of fun weekends outside hiking, fishing, swimming, gardening, and the like. What are some other things I’m loving right now? I’m glad you asked! A new babysitter
Since I went back to work in April, my girls had been spending their days here and there with family and a sitter across town. It was working alright but I was spending a lot of time on the road and I didn’t feel like the girls were thriving in that situation. But then a blessing fell in our laps by way of Facebook and we now have a fabulous babysitter who comes to our house every morning and takes wonderful care of our girls. So happy about this change in our routine! Everyone is much less stressed.
Baby zucchini plants
That warm weather I mentioned a second ago, along with copies amounts of rain, is resulting in speedy growth for the little zucchini seeds I planted in pots on my back deck last week. I’m super excited at the prospect of buckets of fresh zucchini in the coming months!
Silicone cupcake liners
I’ve wanted to get a pack of silicone liners for forever, but my sometimes extreme frugality deterred me until I ran across a sale at Walmart and bought two 8-packs for $2 each. That was a good investment, no question. I feel like I’m only just scratching the surface of the list of ways these liners can be used, not the least of which is for delicious desserts. You can expect a recipe to that effect in the very near future, so keep those chocolate-loving eyes peeled for that!
I love those silicone cupcake liners! They have so many uses! We use them a lot when packing lunches. My kids freak out when their food touches! 🤦♀️
They are amazing! My oldest is like that too lol.
