Easter Books for Kids

If your kids are like mine, they probably love to read books that correspond with seasons and events. We have our favorite Christmas stories and books about love that we read around Valentine’s Day, and now we are moving into books about Easter. My girls and I checked out a bunch of Easter books from our library (using their online service since we are stuck at home right now) to do research for this post and share our favorites for you.

There are books for a variety of ages and I divided them into two very broad categories, faith-based and fun-based. At our house we believe in celebrating our risen Savior, so it’s important to us that we teach our girls about the origins of Easter. But we also think its ok to have fun with a basket of candy-filled eggs, so there’s a mixture of both in these titles. Whichever way you lean on Easter, I hope you’ll find some fun books to share with your little ones!

They are all listed below in their respective categories and each includes the Amazon description and suggested age range. If you have a favorite Easter book, share it in the comments! I’d love to have some new ones to read next year, especially if you have some recommendations for older kids, or faith-based recommendations for any age.
