When I say this Strawberry Lemonade Slush recipe is super easy to make I really do mean super, super, super easy. What could be more simple than adding four common ingredients that you probably already have in your house to a blender and letting it rip for about 15-30 seconds? Five minutes for this recipe includes the prep and the clean-up, you guys.
This drink has been such a delight in the last month or so with temps in the 80-90’s every day – and lets just not talk about the humidity, ok? Whipping up a Strawberry Lemonade Slush is a fast way to provide a refreshing treat that the whole family loves. It’s great either for a little cooling rehydration after an afternoon outside or as something sweet to round out a meal. We are big on the sweets around here, so we almost always have something sweet after dinner and this really hits the spot in the summer time since it’s sweet and cold but lighter on the stomach than ice cream.
So to summarize: five minutes, four ingredients, cool summer treat. What’s not to love? Also, it’s pink, which was a major selling point for my five year old.
