Jump to RecipeI’m a fan of meals that are packed with flavor and don’t take a ton of effort. This recipe for Beef & Broccoli Teriyaki Ramen checks both of those boxes with a big old marker! This meal consists of four simple ingredients and only takes about 20 minutes to put together. Not only that, but it’s great leftover, so I highly recommend making extras if you can.
This recipe is very simple. Just brown your ground beef, boil the noodles, steam some broccoli, and toss it all together with your favorite teriyaki sauce. If you’re feeling ambitious you can always make your own sauce, but I just buy mine premade to make things easier. Easy really is the theme for this recipe!
A couple of things to note:
- You are not going to need the flavor packets that come with the ramen noodles, so you can buy whatever flavor is available. The teriyaki sauce provides all the flavor you need, so just chuck those little packs of powder in the garbage.
- I almost always have broccoli on hand, so that’s what I most commonly use for this recipe, but you can totally use other veggies too. Carrots, peas, and cauliflower are all yummy with these noodles.
- You can also use other kinds of meat. I most commonly use ground venison, but you can also sub in diced chicken, ground pork, steak bites — basically whatever protein you have on hand. Easy, remember?
If you like easy recipes, you might also like:
- 2 packages ramen noodles (discard flavor packs)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3/4 cup teriyaki sauce
-
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Meanwhile, heat water to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan. Cook the ramen noodles in the water according to package directions, about 3 minutes. Steam the broccoli while the noodles and beef cook. Drain the fat from the beef and the water from the noodles, then transfer to a bowl or pot with the broccoli. Pour teriyaki sauce over the top and toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately or store refrigerated for up to one week.
