Measure coffee crystals, sugar, and hot water into a large bowl and beat at medium speed for about 4-5 minutes, until soft peaks form. The color will lighten from a dark to a golden brown as you beat. Mix together the milk, vanilla, and sugar, and then pour over ice. Top the milk with the whipped mixture and enjoy.
Alternate Flavor Options:
1. Make as descibed, but lightly stir 1-2 tablespoons of caramel sauce into the milk before topping with coffee.
2. Make as descibed, but lightly stir 2-3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup into the milk before topping with coffee (Hershey's Special Dark is my favorite).
