Happy New Year! One of my favorite things about a new year is looking back on the previous year. My husband, daughters, and I spent some time recounting and reflecting on all the things we did this year and it almost doesn’t seem possible that it all fit in 365 days. One of the things we all did a lot of was reading!
I am the only person in my family who tracks my reading, so though I know everyone reads plenty, I only have actual numbers and titles for myself. This year I finished 166 books. That doesn’t include books we read aloud or audiobooks listened to as a family, the beta reads I did for friends, or the Bible in a year plan I completed, so I estimate the actual number to be somewhere around 180ish.
Of those books that I logged, I chose twelve books as my favorites from the whole year to share with all of you! It was definitely hard to narrow it down, but also fun to look back and remember the books that stood out to me. Also note, these are not books that were published in 2022 (some of them were). These are books I read in 2022 and really, really enjoyed.
